Abstract

The tourism industry in China serves as a vital catalyst for economic development and cultural export, acting as a conduit for cross-cultural communication and historical exchange. In today's multicultural context, effective translation in external publicity becomes paramount, fostering comprehensive understanding of diverse cultural facets among foreign tourists. This, in turn, facilitates the sustainable growth of China's international tourism market.

This study advocates for the enrichment of English translation content in external publicity materials and the implementation of precise and standardized translations. Such efforts serve to convey compelling Chinese narratives to the global audience, disseminate China's rich cultural heritage, and bolster cultural export. Consequently, these endeavors hold great significance in enhancing the nation's cultural soft power and nurturing cultural self-assurance, thereby amplifying international influence.

Against this backdrop, this paper delves into the strategies for standardizing tourism cultural publicity translations in the new era, offering valuable insights and recommendations for implementation.
