Main Article Content
Abstract
In the realm of highly competitive industries, value creation serves as a fundamental endeavor for businesses seeking to distinguish themselves and attract discerning customers. This paper extends this concept to the academic sphere, focusing on the value creation efforts within academic libraries. Drawing from insights provided by Zhang and Chen (2008), the study underscores the pivotal role of academic libraries in delivering value to their users, including students, faculty, and the broader institutional community. As academic libraries evolve, librarians are increasingly tasked with ensuring that library services and resources align with the diverse needs and objectives of stakeholders, ultimately contributing to student success, faculty support, and institutional advancement. Through a nuanced exploration of value creation dynamics, this research sheds light on the multifaceted ways in which academic libraries enhance the educational experience and foster scholarly endeavors within the academic community. By examining the intersection of value creation and library management, this paper aims to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation processes, empowering librarians to optimize the impact and relevance of library services in achieving institutional goals.
